The SRT Solutions consultants are not trainers. We focus on software
development, and mentoring along the way. However, we understand that
other forms of learning are beneficial, and we partner with respected
members of the training community to provide traditional classroom
training and open-format jam workshops.
Bruce Eckel, of MindView Consulting, provides Self-paced Jam sessions, Open Spaces events, and traditional classroom training. Understanding that adults learn better at their own pace, using
relevant examples from their own workplaces, Bruce Eckel has adapted
the Jam philosophy to software training. A pioneer of workshop-based
training, Bruce wanted to take things one step further:
to a more interactive experience for the trainer and for the
participants.
Bruce's upcoming public events include:
Java Posse Roundup, held March 4-7 in Crested Butte, CO.
Richard Hale Shaw, of the Richard Hale Shaw Group, has been doing corporate training since 1993. He will freely admit that he often prefers to ditch slides in favor of building code samples in
front of a live audience. Richard was the first to give hands-on tutorials
at conferences, starting in 1994 at SD.
Richard's upcoming public events include:
LINQ/C# 3.0 Mini-Camp, held March 14 in Ann Arbor, MI.
.NET 3.5/Visual Studio 2008, held May 5-9 in Ann Arbor, MI
